By creating an account or using the App, you consent to the practices outlined below. We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring transparency about how your information is handled.

We only collect information necessary for personalization, user experience, and core app functionality.
A. Information You Provide
- Name — required for your account profile

- Phone number — optional; used for WhatsApp reminders
- Password — securely hashed; never stored in plain text
- Profile photo — optional
- Journal entries, reflections, chat inputs — used only to personalize your accountability experience and generate AI-based coaching responses
B. Automatically Collected Information
- Push notification token — used to send reminders and updates
- Device information — may include device type, version, and basic usage logs
C. Payment Information
Payments are processed by Stripe, a secure third-party provider. We do not store or access your full payment card details.

Your data is used to:
- Create and manage your account
- Send reminders, notifications, and updates
- Provide personalized accountability coaching
- Improve user experience and app functionality
- Process payments and subscriptions
- Maintain community safety (posts + comments)
We do NOT sell your data to third parties.

- Cloud hosting providers (secure data storage)
- Notification services (for push reminders)
All third parties follow strict data protection standards.

Users under 18 may use the App with parental knowledge or consent. We do not knowingly collect extra information beyond what is required for functionality.

Terms of Use

1. Acceptance of Terms
By signing up or using the App, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please discontinue use immediately.

Iltizaam provides:

- AI-powered reminders and coaching
- Goal tracking
- Notifications
- Journaling
- A community space with posts + comments
- Subscription-based premium features

The App does not provide medical, psychological, therapeutic, or legal advice.
3. User Accounts
You must provide accurate information and maintain the security of your account. You are responsible for all actions taken under your account.
4. User Responsibilities
You agree NOT to:
- Harass, bully, or abuse other users
- Share content that is hateful, violent, or harmful
- Share false information
- Upload copyrighted content you do not own
- Post sexually explicit content
- Attempt to hack, reverse engineer, or exploit the App
Violation may result in account suspension or termination.
5. Community Guidelines
Our community is built around respect, discipline, and accountability. Users may post and comment but must:
- Maintain respectful communication
- Avoid offensive or harmful content
- Not promote spam or scams
We reserve the right to remove any content violating these rules.
6. Payments & Subscriptions
Subscriptions are processed securely via Stripe.
Refund Policy
- First-time users may request a refund within 7 or 14 days (depending on region).
- No refunds after using the service beyond the trial window.
- Refunds apply only to billing errors, duplicate charges, or technical failures preventing access.
Users can cancel anytime. Access continues until the end of the billing cycle.
7. Intellectual Property
All content, trademarks, and materials inside the App belong to Iltizaam. Users may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of the App without permission.
8. User-Generated Content
You retain ownership of your posts and journal entries, but you grant Iltizaam a license to:
- Display
- Process
- Personalize content
- Improve user experience
We do NOT use your personal content for advertising.
9. Termination of Account
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate the Terms of Use, Privacy Policy, or Community Guidelines. You may also delete your account at any time.
10. Limitation of Liability
Iltizaam is provided “as is.” We are not responsible for:
- Loss of profits
- Emotional decisions made based on reminders
- Technical issues beyond our control
- User misunderstandings or misuse of the App
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Nigeria, regardless of user location.
